29 July 2014 - At IRMCS, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new Surface Pro 3 tablet (with 64-bit version of Windows 8.1 Pro) in mid August 2014 in Singapore. The Surface Pro 3 now comes with 12" multi-touch screen and is also lighter, faster and thinner than its predecessors - Surface Pro and Pro 2.
Surface Pro 3 is such an innovative, great device that will soon replace many other tablets, laptops, desktop and POS computers due to its robustness, compact size, mobility and most of all - sheer POWER!
Our clients are certainly very excited too to deploy the Surface Pro 3 as their POS terminals for in-store mobility and out-of-store mobile pos for trade shows, promotion events and even van sale.
Depending on the configurattion, price of Surface Pro 3 ranges from S$1,108 to S$2,700 per unit.
IRMCS recommends the 4th-generation Intel® Core™i5 and i7 Processor (see table below) for high speed point of sale processing with Aralco POS software. Surface Pro 3 will be ready for shipping with Aralco point of sale software in August/September 2014.
